"Motion detection works well overall"
I’ve been using it for a bit now, and the motion detection has been good for the most part. It does miss a few things here and there, so I wouldn’t say it’s absolutely perfect, but it catches enough that I still feel like it’s doing its job. Overall, I’d say it’s solid and reliable enough for everyday use.

"Subscription feels way too pricey"
The plans just feel too expensive for what you get. I already paid for the camera, so having to pay this much every month for basic features just doesn’t feel great. It just doesn’t feel like enough value to me. I’ll probably look at other brands next time.

"The cameras themselves have worked fine for..."
The cameras themselves have worked fine for me, but dealing with the photos on Moultrie has been frustrating. My storage seems to fill up quicker than I expected, and trying to sort through or delete pictures feels way more clunky than it should. I’ve also had a few times where I wasn’t sure if something actually saved or synced correctly. For the price, I really expected the photo management side to be a lot smoother and easier to use

"The Moultrie app is fine, I..."
The Moultrie app is fine, I guess, and it does what I need most of the time. I do like being able to check my cameras from my phone, but there are moments where it just feels frustrating for no clear reason. Pictures can take forever to load, and sometimes I end up closing the app and opening it again just to get things moving. Setup wasn’t awful, but a few parts felt kind of confusing. Overall, it works, but it definitely leaves me feeling annoyed sometimes

"Decent Trail Cam, Better in Daylight"
I’ve used a few trail cameras over the years at my dad’s place, so I had a good idea of what to expect. This one does fine for the most part, especially during the day. The pictures are clear enough to see deer and other animals without any trouble. At night, though, the quality drops a bit. If something is moving, the shots can come out grainy or blurry. It’s not awful, and for the price I’d say it’s still a fair deal, but I do wish the low-light pictures were a little sharper.

"Accessories didn’t end up fitting"
I bought a solar panel and mount because they looked like they were supposed to work with my camera, but the plug and the bracket didn’t line up at all. Support mostly just sent me a few links, and after going back and forth I still had to return everything. There are so many models with tiny differences, and something about it just isn’t clear enough on the site. Ended up wasting most of a weekend trying to figure it out.

"I’ve got to give it credit where..."
I’ve got to give it credit where it’s due, this camera has been catching deer right as they step into view, not a couple seconds late like my old one used to. So far, the trigger speed has been really solid, and I don’t have any complaints.

"The billing was kind of confusing"
I thought I knew what I was paying, but then the charge ended up being higher than I expected. The extra fees weren’t really shown clearly, or maybe they were buried somewhere, I don’t know. It just felt a bit frustrating because everything seemed fine at first, and then the final amount was different.

"Setting this feeder up was a headache"
I bought a feeder from Moultrie and honestly... not a great experience. The assembly was way more frustrating than I expected. Some of the holes didn’t line up right. Had to mess with it way too long. Then the timer. That took forever to figure out. The instructions didn’t help much either, kind of confusing and all over the place. By the time I finally got it set up, I was already over it. I don’t see myself buying another one.

"Pretty easy site to get around"
Moultrie.com was easy to use overall. I was able to find the camera parts and accessories without much digging, and the menus were laid out in a way that made sense. A couple pages loaded a little slow for me, but nothing too frustrating. You can still get around the site easily and find what you need.

I ordered something from Moultrie and ended up needing to send it back because it just wasn’t what I needed. The return process wasn’t very clear, and it kind of felt like they made it my problem to keep following up. It took longer than I expected to get any updates, and I had to check in more than once before the refund finally came through. It got handled in the end, but it definitely wasn’t a smooth or easy experience...

Setup itself was straightforward, but the activation part took longer than I expected and was a bit frustrating. Once I got through it, everything worked fine. Kind of a reminder that sometimes the small setup hassles are just part of getting to the useful part.

"I picked up this Moultrie trail cam…"
I picked up this moultrie trail cam thinking it would be something I could leave out in the woods for a while and not worry about too much. At first I was excited to get it set up, but the battery life has been disappointing. Even with fresh batteries and what I’d consider normal settings, it seems to drain way faster than it should. I got tired of hiking out to check it and finding it completely dead. Super annoying. I mean, maybe I just got a bad one, who knows, BUT COME ON, for the price I really shouldn’t be changing batteries this often. Overall, I’m not too happy with it.

"Solid Cellular Cam with a Few Small Hiccups"
I’ve had my moultrie cam set up for a few months now, the cellular connection has been solid. Most of the pictures come through fast, even in a spot where my phone can barely get a bar. How does that even work? I’ve had a couple times where it was slow or didn’t send for a while, but it ended up sorting itself out later. Is it perfect? No. But overall, I’m happy with it.

"Worked okay at first, then got unreliable"
My Moultrie camera was doing fine when I first set it up, but after a few weeks it started missing pictures here and there. The batteries was brand new too, so I don’t think that was the problem. It just hasn’t been very dependable for me.

"Software update went smooth"
Not gonna lie, I was expecting the software update on my Moultrie cam to be kind of a headache, but it actually went smoother than I thought. It took me a minute to find where everything was in the app, but once I got it started, the update finished without any problems.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the steps could definitely be explained a little more clearly. Other than that, no major issues and it ended up being painless

"Shipping took forever... but whatever"
My order showed up way later than expected, i was annoyed at first. I kept checking the tracking like, seriously? But then it finally arrived and I was just like, okay fine, at least it’s here now.

"Deer feeder Lasted one season"

I bought two of these feeders that are in a timer system .. well they lasted one season… after using them the first season I went o put. Re batteries in and set them back out and the controls to program the feeder do not work … I have emailed Moultrie twice . I never got a response… how disappointing , I paid 119 each and they last one season … then they don’t return Emails to help me … I also have called and get no answer .. I give up … what a joke . They could care less ..
